Five years ago Carl Johnson escaped the difficulties of life in Los Santos, San Andreas ... in a city torn apart by gang war, drugs and corruption. A place where movie stars and millionaires do their best to protect themselves from drug dealers and bandits.
Now the early 90´s. Carl returned home. His mother was killed, his family broke up, and all the friends of his childhood are halfway to death.
Upon his return to his native neighborhoods, several corrupt cops set him up for murder. Carl was forced to embark on a journey that would lead him through the entire state of San Andreas, help save his family and gain control of the streets.
