These new features are used on randomly selected maps, new scenarios and a new campaign in which halflings who escaped death build settlements in a distant land where unprecedented horrors await them.

New materials:

- Halfling race: the little people are back in the game - with new combat units, heroes and leaders. Jesters shoot fireworks, blinding enemies, and cooks throw knives and provide food for an army of halflings on the march. Halflings can be of all classes. In addition, they introduce a new mechanism - luck, which allows troops with high morale to evade enemy attacks.
- Golden Lands Campaign: In this 3-scenario campaign, you will help halfling survivors of the massacre in the Wood of Hearts build a new empire in an exotic land and defeat an ancient evil.
- Exotic Maps: Capture the naga´s home of the great snake people and discover new treasures such as the famous forgotten city - all of which will benefit your empire.
- More than 20 new units: You will encounter such units as creepy monkeys that throw dirt at the enemy, adorable mermaids and the scary Glutton that can swallow an entire regiment in one go.
- New items for heroes: There are 50 new magical artifacts in the Golden Lands that you can use. Take yourself a mysterious crystal skull or wear a sorcerer´s headdress to be in no way different from the locals.
- Specialization - Unbridled Magic: Cast unbridled magic spells. Cause spontaneous mutations, change equipment and turn army battle formations into complete chaos.
- Specialization - Rebels: Use new skills to wage guerrilla warfare. Create camouflaged shelters and develop ambush skills.
- Two unique scenarios: These scenarios are related to new features available in the Golden Lands expansion. You can play them alone or online.
