Splice is an experimental and artistic puzzle game. Immerse yourself in her microbial world and start splicing! Each level ("thread") consists of several cells that you will need to rebuild into a target structure in a few moves ("splices"). Research and experimentation are key in determining how curious little cells react to each other. Predict the sequence of splices that you will have to perform in order to successfully position each thread. Change the sequence, mutate and connect the elements in this unique puzzle and you will train your ability to visualize successive rows of shapes over time. Unravel your way to the last threads, and you will have a heady sense of accomplishment!
Splice is the fourth game from Cipher Prime Studios, which became the best puzzle game at the 2011 Intel Level Up competition.
Over 75 puzzles: The main episodes introduce the player to the basic mechanics of the game, and the epilogue episodes challenge the player´s skill in the game.
Angelic Solutions: Each level is solved in a few moves. Challenge yourself and find angelic puzzle solutions by completing the puzzles in fewer splices than you are given. Novice players can still progress in the game using all the splices.
Unique Geometry: Explore the structure of a binary tree in radial space.
Immersive Soundscape: Put on your headphones and immerse yourself in the mesmerizingly beautiful Splice piano music.
